JIM PEDERSON

Jim Pederson is employed at Boeing as a Systems Engineer Associate Technical Fellow at the Huntington Beach facility in the core systems engineering group supporting multiple programs since late 2003. Previously, he worked on the C-17 program in Long Beach from 1988 to 2003 performing a variety of systems engineering and specialty engineering functions on that program and was the Sr. Manager of systems engineering from 1999 to 2003. Jim led the successful CMMI level 5 certification at Boeing Long Beach in 2003 and was a key contributor to CMMI level 5 certification at the Huntington Beach facility in 2004. Jim holds an MBA from West Coast University, an MS in Quality and Statistics from CSUDH and an MSIT from American Online University. He teaches part time for UC Irvine Extensions in systems and software engineering. Jim's involvement in INCOSE includes speaking at three INCOSE LA mini-conferences and being the Conference Chair for the INCOSE LA Mini-conference in June 2005. He has participated in the CSER 2006 preparation.
