Re-examining Systems Engineering: Complex Systems and the Business Environment in Which They Operate

The Los Angeles Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is sponsoring a one-day technical mini-conference. The conference will include a keynote speaker, numerous technical presentations, and a panel discussion. Four technical tracks comprised of up to eight presentations each will be offered. Presentations will tentatively address the following areas of systems engineering: system of systems, enterprise architectures, software, systems analysis, and economics and policy issues.

Invited panelists from industry, government, and universities will re-examine Systems Engineering as it relates to complex systems and enterprise architecture developments, economics and policy issues.

Keynote Speaker: Colonel James R. Horejsi

Colonel James R. Horejsi is currently the Chief Engineer and Deputy Director of Systems Acquisition, Directorate of Systems Acquisition, Space and Missile Systems Center, Air Force Space Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA.
